The Hon. Bob Barr will hold a press conference on Monday May 12 to discuss his future plans and the 2008 election. Rep. Barr launched an exploratory committee last month to determine whether he should file as a candidate for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination.

The press conference will be held at 11:00am ET on Monday May 12, 2008 in the Zenger Room of the National Press Club, Washington, DC Throughout his public and private service, Bob Barr has been an ardent defender of the U.S. Constitution. Now more than ever before, we need national leadership ready to uphold the oath to preserve and protect our civil liberties. Bob needs our help and support to seek and win the Libertarian nomination for President.
