“In your guts, you know (s)he’s nuts” – Lyndon Johnson

Lefty Frizzell – Cigarettes and Coffee Blues

This has got to be the most perfect song for Rockabilly after midnight. Sometimes with my blogging, due to the fact that I am a bit introverted, I can get a bit lethargic emotionally, physically and polititcally and not post much. Yet, other times I will post at marathon speeds. Tonite is one of those times. I am posting here quite a bit tonite and also I put up a post at Grizzly Groundswell, posted at First GOP Blogs. I will be back at First GOP Blogs in a few. Please follow me over there. I think the theme song for many bloggers out there should “Cigarettes and Coffee.” Many of us out there blog past the wee hours of the night, sitting at our computers over caffeinated on coffee, some of us chain smoking.

Due to my love of Rockabilly music and Rockabilly lifestyle, I like to role play the part of a news reporter in a film noir sitting over a typewriter in a dank apartment or small cottage, with a percolator of never ending amount of coffee writing about the “crimes against the people” and an overfilling ashtray of cigarette butts. So, without further adoo, here is tonite’s Rockabilly.

Stay tuned, I have an Elvis vid coming up, I think would go perfect for what I am feeling. I have to film the record playing on my stereo, post it to You Tube, then post it here.
