Buddy Holly & The Crickets – Oh Boy (I’m voting for Bob Barr!)
After reading that the Bob Barr campaign may be expecting an NRA endorsement, I felt that tonite’s Rockabilly After Midnite should be Buddy Holly’s well known song “Oh Boy.”
All my voting life I’ve been a Republican. But November 4, there will be no hesitating. Oh boy! I will be voting for Bob Barr. The country should see that Bob Barr is for America. Oh Boy! A lot of liberty makes everything right. I’m gonna see my candidate win. If you follow the party line lock step and barrel you don’t know what your missing. Oy vay. Bob Barr’s views are with the American people. Oh boy!
John McCain and Barack Obama are dumb, diddly dumb dumb. OH NO!

All You Need to Know About Michigan Redneck
I am a politically conservative chick who has a passion for politics, and The USA. I currently live in the Upper Peninsula. I grew up in the Flint, Michigan area. I am mainly a Fiscal Conservative. I am a blue collar worker who is eligible for many gubmint handouts. I refuse to sign up for these programs. I pay my bills according to which utility threatens to shut me off first. I struggle but I was raised that to get what I want and need, work for it.
Besides politics I am studying my Bohemian genealogy and whenever I have time, I try to pick up my grandpa’s guitar. I love to eat healthily. My favorite food is Central European; Czech, Polish and German. I love to eat pork, sauerkraut, potatoes/or dumplings washed down with beer. My favorite beer is Pabst Blue Ribbon. I love to sew. The main sewing machine I use is my grandma’s Domestic Deluxe 153 from 1951. Starting on Thanksgiving, I start playing Christmas music and make Christmas presents for friends, co-workers and family. I have a passion for decorating. My style is a mix of Andy Warhol meets Donna Reed. I try to add a little bit of all elements of the fifties in my cute little Yooper cottage. If you would like to know more about me, just ask!

Though I agree with your line of thought, I just feel that with the race as close as it is I have to vote major party… And the “Obamination” is much more scary than “McSame”.
Since finding out about Bob Barr I have been going back and forth on my thoughts, thinking the same as you. I feel my vote is my voice. I would love to see Bob Barr win. But that probably won’t happen.
I am willing to take the risk. If my “vote for Barr is a vote for Obama”, oh well. Americans need to do what they think is right. If Obama does win, it just may get the Republicans straighten up and regroup, or get replaced by a third party sooner than I thought.
That’s a very good and valid point! I have been known to say that America probably needs a good, hearty dose of Socialism. I really think that too many people are caught up in emotionalism; and that has short-circuited rational though.
