Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. on Jim Inhofe
A special message for my Oklahoma readers;
October 20, 2008
As Election Day fast approaches, I am asking everyone to support my friend and colleague, Jim Inhofe. Now, more than ever, we need to send a message to Washington that America is fed up with wasteful spending and high taxes. We can do it by giving Jim Inhofe a resounding victory on November 4th.
Jim is a true conservative. As a defender of limited government, I have counted on Jim’s courage and leadership to fight the tough battles in Washington. If not for his efforts to defeat the Lieberman-Warner Climate Change Bill, we would be facing the largest tax increase in our nation’s history.
We cannot afford to send another liberal to Washington who will increase taxes and mortgage America’s future. We need the principled leadership of men like Jim Inhofe. Please make an immediate contribution today of $10, $25 $50, or more to ensure a victory for conservatives on November 4th.
When Jim’s opponent, Andrew Rice, tried to link his policies with mine I made it known that I will not be associated with Rice’s liberal agenda. To me, the choice couldn’t be clearer. Jim will protect Oklahoma’s values and ensure your taxpayer dollars are not wasted.
Andrew Rice, on the other hand, will just be another vote for the big spending, anti-energy, and “government knows best” policies of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Your help is needed to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Thank you and God Bless,
Dr. Tom CoburnP.S. — I know from 2004 just how much money it costs to fully fund a grassroots campaign like Jim’s. Your immediate contribution will allow his campaign to continue going door-to-door, persuading voters and getting out the vote. Thank you!

All You Need to Know About Michigan Redneck
I am a politically conservative chick who has a passion for politics, and The USA. I currently live in the Upper Peninsula. I grew up in the Flint, Michigan area. I am mainly a Fiscal Conservative. I am a blue collar worker who is eligible for many gubmint handouts. I refuse to sign up for these programs. I pay my bills according to which utility threatens to shut me off first. I struggle but I was raised that to get what I want and need, work for it.
Besides politics I am studying my Bohemian genealogy and whenever I have time, I try to pick up my grandpa’s guitar. To follow my genealogy search about the Reimel, Nelson, Kallis and Selinger families click www.michiganredneck.blogspot.com. My favorite music is Rockabilly and other popular genres from the 1950’s. I love to eat healthily. My favorite food is Central European; Czech, Polish and German. I love to eat pork, sauerkraut, potatoes/or dumplings washed down with beer. My favorite beer is Pabst Blue Ribbon. I love to sew. The main sewing machine I use is my grandma’s Domestic Deluxe 153 from 1951. Starting on Thanksgiving, I start playing Christmas music and make Christmas presents for friends, co-workers and family. I have a passion for decorating. My style is a mix of Andy Warhol meets Donna Reed. I try to add a little bit of all elements of the fifties in my cute little Yooper cottage. If you would like to know more about me, just ask!

Hey Red, Just wanted to let you know. I went to our towns, “Meet the Candidates” night at a local church. Everyone was there. Since you said you missed Tom Casperson at the bridge I stepped up for you and told him you said HI! He did very well. Athough Stupak also did well, you and I could see through all that. Tom said he was heading back to the UP tonight, so he should be passing you about 1:00 am. Just thought you would want to know, Blessings Shane
Hey, thanks
. Was Daniel Grow, Bart’s and Tom’s Libertarian compitition, there? If so, how did he do? There are things I like and dislike about both Casperson and Grow.
Sorry Red, Danniel Grow was not there. I was hoping that he would be. Anyway, Tom and I talked mostly about turning the Titanic around. A metaphor he was using about the slow process it is going to take to Re-Federalise this nation. You know I was all ears to that! We talked one on one for about 5-10 min. He has lots of knowlegde, I just wonder if he has the finishing power needed. We will see. Blessings Shane
