Judges That Will be on Ballots Throughout Mackinac County
This is something that I haven’t really talked about, nor have I wanted to talk about much. I’ll tell ya why. I think this is one of the most sacred positions to vote for. When I was in high school I was told in both Government Class and Current Affairs Class that in elections judges are supposed to be non-partisan. I took this to mean that they are not supposed to be partisan in any situation. Perhaps I am very old school, but I don’t think judges should ever associate with individual political parties. I don’t believe they should speak at political meetings or events. Of course I see nothing wrong with them attending meetings and events. I don’t believe they should even speak on behalf of political candidates. A judge’s job is to interpret the law as how it is laid out in the constitution of the state or country. That is why I will only inform you as to who is running for judgeships. I will not tell you who I am voting for. Nor will I give you any information about each individual candidate. It is up to you find out who is running for judicial offices and research the information on your own.
Here are the Judicial candidates that will be on your ballots;
I have typed my best the way it will appear on your ballot
