GM to Sell Part of Company to Gov’t

h/t CBN News;

General Motors’ plan for bankruptcy includes selling part of the company to the government.

Reuters reports GM wants to sell its healthy assets to another company owned by the government.

The remaining assets would stay in bankruptcy protection.

GM is about $6 billion in debt and the government is giving the company untill June 1 to restructure.

Part of that deadline is reaching a deal with unions but GM says it doesn’t expect to be able to do that before May 26.

  1. What da F are the CEO’s thinking ?, why don’t they bring the jobs back home, put the American people back to work so they can buy your cars instead of shipping the job over seas so you can fatten up your pockets with cheap labor and expect us to buy your product without a JOB ???, that’s pretty anal thinking. I know people that would like to buy a new car, but just can’t afford it with a minimum wage job.., common do the math !. I have a son and a daughter, they want to buy a new car, it’s out of the question for them with thier ten dollar an hour job and the other with an unemployment check.
